Latest Favorite Swimsuit Finds (and they're not bikinis!)

I spent the weekend in one of my favorite peaceful islands, Hilton Head. Hilton Head is one of the first vacation spots that TJ and I visited together so it has always been a special place to both of us. I'll get into more weekend details later on but today I wanted to share with y'all two of my latest swimsuit purchases. They happen to both be one-pieces which I've been loving lately. 

If you find the right style one-piece swimsuit, they can really be very flattering for many different body types. Personally, I chose this specific style of this tropical printed monokini because it covers up and protects a site where I recently had a suspicious mole removed. With it also being Skin Cancer Awareness Month and coming from a girl who has some pretty fair skin and a lot of freckles and moles, make sure you're seeing a dermatologist regularly. Skin cancer is, unfortunately, the most common form of cancer but can be so treatable if caught early! Be sure you're wearing SPF every day, too, and stop using the tanning bed! If you need a good tan, just use this stuff. It is my new favorite and don't think I'll be using anything else for a while! I also love the high neck to protect the sunburn-prone skin on my chest. My favorite part of this suit is the high waisted bottom-half though. It keeps your tummy tight and feel toned! Key word, "feel". This swimsuit is definitely pricier than most but it is well worth it in my opinion, especially for a swimsuit I feel 100% confident in. 

I'm also a hat hoarder these days. This one with the bow is the perfect size for the beach or laying by the pool coming in hot at under $15. 

The second favorite recent swimsuit find of mine is this ruffle off-shoulder one-piece. It looks adorable paired with a cute pair of denim shorts (love these) and makes for a great poolside look. 

Another great hat option is this floppy one with "I'm busy" printed along the brim.
