So, if you're like most people, you think about working out every now and then.
Good! It's important. Even if you just walk for a while every day. I thought I would share some of my favorite work out programs so, if you're looking for one, here are some you may want to try!
1. Tone It Up ($)
If you haven't heard of Karena and Katrina... you need to download their app, Tone It Up right. this. second. This is not only very cost friendly (I am pretty sure the app is free.99), but they are two fit mamas who love personal training and genuinely think above and beyond the normal training program. They make it quick, efficient, and FUN by making each work out relate to a specific theme, such as a Bikini Series, Love Your Body Series for Valentines Day, Wedding Series, and much more. Their app is also the most organized thing I've ever seen in my life including every video and workout they've ever filmed under each muscle group.
One last pro to Tone it Up- it is a community of women who want to get in shape and live a healthy lifestyle. There are community boards where you can just post any question and it'll get answered. One time I had a question about a good blender to buy for smoothies and about 10 people answered in 2 minutes. I could really go on and on about these two trainers so see for yourself and download
Tone It Up!
2. Les Mills ($$$)
Ever heard of Body Pump, Body Combat, Body Attack, etc? Yep, these are what are known as "Les Mills" classes and boy do they work. They are normally offered at a large selection of fitness centers/studios so check on the
Les Mills website to see where the closest location is to you. The best part about these classes is that they are science driven and VERY efficient when trying to get toned. The only semi-negative part about them are the cost of a gym membership but to me, its worth it. Body Pump would definitely have to be my favorite class.
3. Jillian Michaels ($$)
Now, if you want something in between the above mentioned programs, my girl Jillian may be the one for you. The only cost for her is the DVD that you want to purchase. Her workouts are basic (for the most part), yet still intense and efficient. She knows which moves work and sticks to them. Her workouts are also the shortest I've seen while still producing results. When you don't want to go out in the rain/snow and you're a busy person (aren't we all) she is the one to go to. One of my favorites is the 30 Day Shred.
What are some of your favorite ways to get a good workout in?
