Today I'm sharing a couple looks featuring J. McLaughlin's new Wear Now collection, inspired by high quality and timeless pieces that'll take you from cool summer nights to those breezy fall mornings. With how fast time flies, it'll be fall before you know it and I don't know about you but I've recently been going through my closet and seeing what I need/don't need/etc. One thing that every girl should have in her closet: a sweater that will last!

I've bought cheap sweaters way too many times that often end up in the trash can. Whether they get those little fuzz balls all over them or they shrink to a baby size and I give it to my niece, I've become tired of wasting money on low quality sweaters. If you've felt similar about your own purchases, let me introduce you to J. McLaughlin.
J. McLaughlin is the type of shopping destination I would go to for classic investment pieces - tops, pants, skirts, sweaters that'll last a long time and will never, ever go out of style! The pastel colors and soft materials they offer will have you hooked on this American fashion brand.
For this summer night look, I wore my favorite Daniel Wellington watch and don't forget you can get 15% off watches with the code 'prettyinthepines' at danielwellington.com
For my second look, I went for an even more casual summer outfit with this gorgeous tan Dalton Sweater and my favorite denim shorts.

I'm so thankful that its Friday! The weeks are getting busier and I'm very excited for a low key weekend. I'll be doing a bit of wedding planning and figuring out how I'm going to ask my bridesmaids, doing a few shoots for the blog, and relaxing as much as I can! I'm looking forward to making a favorite caprese pasta salad recipe and maybe seeing a movie since there are a bunch of good ones out!
XO, Shelby
Love J. McLaughlin! You look fanastic in both looks! xo, Champagne&Suburbs
