Whenever I find a shirt or something that I can wear in multiple ways, I try and add it to my closet. That was the case when I found this soft pink striped hi lo tee at the store the other day! Not only was it very affordable, but it was something I'd see myself wearing throughout spring and summer. I love how it comes in so many pretty colors too. In this post, you can see what I mean by wearing this top two separate ways: one with my high waisted mint pants and the other with my go-to skinny jeans.

Perfect Spring Dress
A couple weeks ago, I talked about a Bouquets and Bubbly event I hosted with Kendra Scott and Zelle and you might notice that this ruffle mini shift dress was what I wore that night! I have always loved ruffle sleeved anything - tops, dresses, swimsuits, you name it. You can bet that when I saw this affordable soft peachy one, I put my free 2 day delivery at ASOS to use. I paired it with some completely random colored teal suede pumps because why not?! I love pairing two totally unexpected colors together to get a unique outfit that nobody else would do.

Favorites in Fitness ft. Albion Fit
Fitness has always been a really important factor in my life. I grew up sneaking off to the health section in Barnes and Noble, majoring in human bio, minoring in nutrition, and have ran 3 half marathons before graduating college (and realizing I have major granny knees). I owe it to my mom who is a running machine and cooks the most amazing healthy dishes! I still love reading fitness and health blogs whenever I have time and today I wanted to fill you all in on what my current favorites in the fitness world are, ranging from favorite fitness clothing (hello Albion Fit) to favorite workout apps and programs! Read below to find out how you can WIN a pair of Albion Fit workout leggings! Also, for 15% off, use the code prettyinthepines15.

Spring Fever
I know it is still in the middle of winter but the 70 degree temps. we've had the past few days has me totally dreaming of spring weather! I think it is officially spring in my brain... if you can't already tell from my Instagram outfits. I wore my favorite white wide-leg jeans yesterday with an affordable striped button-down shirt to enjoy the beautiful afternoon after we finished moving (we moved from a one bedroom to a two bedroom apt. this weekend, incase you were wondering). Of course, I wore my go-to neutral accessories including my tan watch and Swell Caroline ginger bracelet.

Keeping Things Simple
Sometimes it's best to stick with the basics. You can never go wrong with a good pair of jeans, a cozy neutral sweater, and a fun pair of pumps. I've been loving blue shades of suede shoes lately and this navy pair is my newest favorite. Anybody else ready for spring though? The forecast is calling for more snow next week but my brain is far past winter already. I've been browsing online for swimsuits, places to visit in Hilton Head (we won a trip there in April!), and healthy recipes to get a bikini body!

Bouquets and Bubbly | Sneak Peek
I was going to wait until we got all of the photos back to share details about our Bouquets and Bubbly event last Thursday but they were too good not to go ahead and share; therefore, you get a sneak peek! I can't wait to see the rest but for now, here is a little glimpse into a Galentine's Day party that Kendra Scott (huge thanks to their event manager, Logan!), Zelle, and I planned at one of downtown Raleigh's newest venue's, The Glass Box. This unique venue was the perfect spot for the occasion and we invited a bunch of local bloggers and other creative business owners from the area to come with a "galentine".

How To Style Your TV Stand or Console Table
A few months ago, I finally found a TV stand that had all of the requirements I had been looking for for years! Of course, Homegoods was where I found it. That place never lets me down. I was looking for a tv stand that would have shelving I could decorate rather than cabinets that close, a grey wood finish and rustic look, and a large enough size that would allow me to make it my own! After barely fitting into TJ's suv, we got home and it sat in our living room for weeks before deciding what I wanted to put on the shelves.

Valentine's Day Inspired Bar Cart
I love holidays. Some holidays definitely have more meaning than others but I just find joy out of any holiday. An occasion to celebrate with others is one of my favorite parts of life and I won't let a holiday pass without taking full advantage of the festivities! I decided to clean my bar cart the other day that had been covered in dust. After it was all clean and sparkly, I figured I would go ahead and decorate it for the upcoming holiday, Valentine's Day, because why not. It made me realize that I have a lot of random faux florals laying around my house and also an enormous assortment of paper straws that I most likely will not actually use (but they look so very cute!).

Blue Floral Dress
This isn't the first time I've worn blue florals and it certainly won't be the last. I'm already drawn to florals so when they come in one of my favorite hues, it is hard to pass up. I wore this flirty & floral v-neck dress to the welcoming cocktail party last weekend at Create and Cultivate. The temperatures were in the 70's that entire weekend so I was really glad I packed this bad boy!

A Day At Create and Cultivate + 5 Things I Learned
I've been thinking of how to organize this post all week so hopefully it will come out as my brain envisions it. Last weekend, I attended the Create and Cultivate conference in Dallas, a one-day creative conference for female entrepreneurs in the digital space. It was filled with all different types of bloggers, business owners, or even girls just thinking of starting a business. It had panels with speakers I've been following for a long time (Happily Grey, Gal Meets Glam, The Skinny Confidential), workshops, keynote speaker Emily Schuman of Cupcakes and Cashmere, and SO many more. I'll give you a run down of how the day went and also 5 things I learned over the weekend so if you have any questions at all, leave me a comment! All photography is a combination of Jessica Bordner Photography, Melissa Enid Photography, Zelle, and my phone!

RTR Valentine's Day Challenge: Part 2
Do you remember this last Valentine's Challenge post where my fiance had to take a Rent the Runway quiz about me which then determined my Valentine's Day look? Well, this time I took the quiz about myself and the stylists at Rent the Runway curated some looks for me based on the answers. I absolutely love how one of the results was this Kate Spade Bow Back Dress. Read more below to find out what the quiz questions looked like! If you're planning a special Valentine's Day date, I'd definitely check out all of the fabulous options at RTR.

All the Blues
This past weekend was so wonderful and I am so sad for it to be over already! I always feel that way when the weekends end but this time is even more so. If you follow along on snapchat (shelbsLV) or instagram (@prettyinthepines), you probably know I spent the weekend in Dallas. A couple friends of mine went to Create & Cultivate, a one-day inspiring and motivating conference I've been wanting to attend for a long time! I will share ALL the details later on but today I wanted to share my outfit I wore to it since the majority of it is on major sale! Shop these tailored wide leg mint pants and blue cropped top below!
